A Fragile Spell

Well, tickle my fancy; I´m glad we have certain things in common. Baudelaire and Edgar Allen Poe are what you call ´poet maudits´ or cursed poets; they have some kind of evil spell over their lives. When a person is younger, you can kind of say that he hasn’t yet lived long enough to be his own evil spell but after a while you have problems of your own, just as bad as ever any poem by Edgar...!

"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before."
